What we do
For many homes it starts with one hot room: home air conditioning for a bedroom or loft, or a conservatory or garden room that is too hot in summer and too cold in winter. We also fit multi-split systems for several rooms, air-to-air heat pumps for winter heating, and office and commercial systems for local businesses. After that comes servicing and repairs.
How we quote
We look at the room, the wall, the route for the pipes, the power supply and the spot for the outdoor unit, then put the price in writing, with the electrical work and any extras on their own lines. You can compare it with another quote, and we would rather you did than feel pushed.
The neighbours and the building
An outdoor unit stays on the wall for years, so we think about who has to live with it. We check the noise at the nearest neighbouring window, whether the property is listed or in a conservation area, and whether a rear wall would serve better than the obvious spot.
Have these to hand
A quote is quicker when we know a little about the building.
- Postcode and type of property
- The rooms, and their rough size
- Which way the windows face
- Where an outdoor unit might go
- Whether it is listed or in a conservation area
